RasterPop is designed with privacy at its core. We believe your files are yours alone, and we've built our converter to ensure complete privacy and security.
No Data Collection
Your images never leave your device. All image conversion happens entirely in your web browser using client-side JavaScript. We do not:
- Upload your files to any server
- Store your images in any database
- Log or track which images you convert
- Access your file contents in any way
- Share your data with any third parties
How It Works
When you upload a WebP file to RasterPop, the file is processed entirely within your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. The conversion happens on your device, and the resulting PNG file is generated locally. No network requests are made during the conversion process.
Analytics & Cookies
We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how people use RasterPop, but we do not track individual users or collect personal information. We may collect:
- Aggregate page view counts
- General device and browser information
- Geographic region (country level only)
We do NOT use cookies for tracking purposes. Any analytics we implement will be privacy-focused and compliant with GDPR and CCPA regulations.
